1. Does waxing hurt?

Waxing can be uncomfortable, especially for first-timers, but the discomfort is quick and gets easier with every appointment. I use high-quality wax and proper techniques to make the experience as gentle as possible. Most Glow Babes say it’s not as bad as they expected!

2. How long does my hair need to be to wax?

Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (around the length of a grain of rice). If it’s too short, the wax can’t grip properly.

3. How often should I get waxed?

Every 4–6 weeks depending on your hair growth. Staying consistent makes results smoother and reduces discomfort over time

4. Can I wax on my period?

Yes! You can absolutely wax on your cycle. Just wear a clean tampon or cup. Please note you may be slightly more sensitive.

5. Do you wax if I’m pregnant?

Yes! It’s completely safe. Many moms-to-be get Brazilians their entire pregnancy. You might feel a little more tender, but it’s normal.

6. What should I do before my wax?

• Exfoliate 24 hours before • Come with clean skin • Avoid heavy lotions/oils • Avoid caffeine 2–3 hours before if you’re nervous (it increases sensitivity)

7. What should I do after my wax?

• Avoid heat (saunas, working out, hot showers) for 24 hours • No tight clothing • No touching the area • Start exfoliating every 2–3 days once it’s healed • Use recommended aftercare products to prevent ingrowns

8. What is the difference between a Brazilian and a Bikini wax?

Bikini: Removes hair outside the underwear line. Brazilian: Removes everything front to back (you can leave a strip/triangle if you want).

9. Do you double dip?

Absolutely not. Never. I follow strict sanitation standards with fresh sticks every dip,always clean, always safe.

10. Can I get waxed if I’m on medication?

If you’re taking Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have taken it within the last 6 months, you cannot be waxed. Certain acne medications, retinoids, or skin-thinning prescriptions may also be contraindications. Always let me know what you’re using.

11. Can I shave between waxes?

I don’t recommend it. Shaving disrupts the hair cycle and can make your next wax more uncomfortable. Exfoliate instead to stay smooth.

12. Will I get ingrowns?

Ingrowns can happen with any hair removal method, but you can prevent them with: • Consistent waxing • Regular exfoliating • Proper aftercare oils or ingrown treatments • Wearing loose clothing

13. How long does a Brazilian wax take?

For new clients: 20–30 minutes For regular clients: 15–20 minutes (You know you’re fast, Amiga 😭🔥)

14. Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! I use high-quality waxes suitable for sensitive skin and adjust my technique to your needs.

15. What if I’m embarrassed?

Don’t be! This is my job and my specialty. I make it comfortable, fun, and judgment-free. You’re in good hands always. 🩷

16. Can I work out after a wax?

Wait 24 hours. Sweat + friction can cause irritation and ingrowns.

17. Do you offer vajacials?

Yes! Vajacials are perfect for treating ingrowns, discoloration, and bumps. They can be added right after your Brazilian
